We heaped a 8'x4' trailer in 9 minutes!
Using the 4-way knife on poplar we heaped a 8'x4' trailer in 9 minutes! After 3 trailer loads it had not even used 1/4 tank fuel. The only problem is I now have too much spare time! I don't regret spending the extra money and getting such a fast machine. Thank you for selling it to me!

Easy to assemble, had to lift the main beam with the tractor as it's heavy as it should be. Splitting gnarly Macrocarpa stump tops is no problem. It ignores knots and the vertical operation is ideal for dealing with big heavy rounds. Wished I bought it sooner. Thoroughly recommend.

    Firewood processors are significantly more expensive. The final price depends on a range of factors, including what machinery it is mounting to, the final specification of the firewood processor, and your location. In general, for our firewood processors, prices range from $25,000 up to over $100,000 depending on the make and model.

    What wood can a firewood processor handle?

    Firewood Processors can handle most types of wood, including pine, macrocarpa, douglas fir and gum. However, firewood processors generally can’t handle very large diameter wood (e.g. 600mm + diameter). For larger logs you are better to use a regular wood splitter.

    What are the benefits of a firewood processor vs a regular log splitter?
