    Can a SuperVario broadcast spreader spread slug bait AND seed?

    Yes! The Lehner SuperVario is a unique machine in its ability ot spread both slug bait and seed. The machine is fitted with an effective agitation system to ensure the chute remains free of blockages. The units also have a very wide range of operating speeds allowing the machine to effectively spread larger product such as slug bait, and small product such as seed - including clover seed and other fine seeds.

    Is a broadcaster or air seeder better for spreading seed?

    The short answer to this is that an airseeder is always the more precise and accurate way of spreading seed, as the pipes take seed much lower to the ground, and the metering wheel ensures precise dosage. However, the seed spinner is a cheaper way to spread seed, and is also effective; the Lehner machines are highly customisable and can be adapted for windy conditions with the baffle plate attachment.

    What can Lehner broadcast spreaders and air seeders be fitted to?

    Lehner broadcast spreaders are very easy to shift between different implements. They can be fitted to quad bikes, utes, side-by-sides, tractor front-end loader, seed drills, aerators etc, simply and easily. Lehner Air Seeders can also be fitted to almost any implement with some modification required.

    Can Lehner Spreaders and Air Seeders spread fertiliser?

    Yes! Lehner Supervario Spreaders, and AirDos and Vento Air Seeders, can spread granulated fertiliser products. The Supervario Spreader is a spinner type broadcaster, while the AirDos and Vento are highly accurate air seeders. It is worth noting that as the machines are not fully built from stainless steel, care are should always be taken to clean equipment out after using with fertiliser.
