The extremely popular Liberator 22T packs a real punch. With 22 tons of splitting power, reliable Kohler engine, a penetrating knife design, low-friction knife sliding design and a full length beam, this unit will effortlessly split most firewood timbers found in NZ and Australia. Pine, macrocarpa, and smaller diameter or freshly cut gum prevent no obstacle to this machine.

While the Liberator 22T is fitted with "road" tyres, we recommend transporting on a trailer for distances longer than 5+/-km. It does not have suspension and is not designed to withstand extended periods of towing.

The Liberator LS465 22T is suited for a wide range of timber - including pine, old man pine, macrocarpa, native, and most types of gum, especially if split green / freshly felled.

Can the Liberator LS465 22T be towed on the road?

Yes - the tyres are road-grade tyres. However, the log splitter does not have suspension, so shouldn't be towed at speeds of more than 50 km/h or for long distances.

Will the Liberator LS465 22T Fit into a trailer?

Yes - The maximum width of th log splitter is 1220mm so it will fit in most standard 4ft-wide and wider trailers.
