Ground-Hog SE240 - 2.4m Aerator

Designed to be a versatile aerator and lowtill cultivator for farmers and orchardists, the SE240-AG is one of our most popular models.

Ideal for dairy farmers, sheep/beef operations and orchards alike, this machine effectively aerates the ground, with the lean and twist on the tines lifting and shattering the soil profile. The improved aeration allows air and vital nutrients deeper into the root zone, driving root depth lower and improving yields.

The SE Series machines come with shaft adjustment 0-10 degrees.

• 0 degrees for effective aeration with minimal surface disturbance
• 2.5, 5 and 7.5 degrees settings for increasingly aggressive aeration
• 10 degrees setting for low-till cultivation - like a set of discs

Compared to a subsoiler, on 0 degrees the Ground Hog leaves very minimal surface disturbance - you can put stock in the same paddock soon after aeration. The rolling action and high tine density - 4 tines per row - means there is no ridging or disturbance created by the Ground-hog.

All Ground-Hog aerators have 4 tines per row resulting in 25% more aeration than other brands. The tine shaft is able to be adjusted from 0 to 10 degrees in 2½ degree increments to enable use for aeration and/or cultivation.

The rolling tine action of the Groundhog requires a lot less pulling than a subsoiler or leg aerator, reducing horsepower consumption and increasing speed. Since you can get the job done faster, the aerator can get used more often, improving the overall performance of your farm!
