The extremely popular Wood-King 22T packs a real punch. With 22 tons of splitting power, reliable Kohler engine, a penetrating knife design, low-friction knife sliding design and a full length beam, this unit will effortlessly split most firewood timbers found in NZ and Australia. Pine, macrocarpa, and smaller diameter or freshly cut gum prevent no obstacle to this machine.

While the Wood-King 22T is fitted with "road" tyres, we recommend transporting on a trailer for distances longer than 5+/-km. It does not have suspension and is not designed to withstand extended periods of towing.

Sold in NZ since 2013, this machine has proven itself as reliable, well balanced log splitter ideal for lifestyle block / home use. Taskpower stocks a full range of parts for this machine, and provides aftersales and warranty support.

I'm very pleased with this log splitter which goes through my knotty pine here in the Sounds like butter. A smooth and safe knife action so you can relax into the job without any jolts or flying splinters. Bought it from Nelson Taskpower who were great to deal with. Can highly recommend this machine and this local company.

Instruction need updating, you specified metre spanners and when the penny dropped to not having an 18mm socket, I realised that the bolts and nuts were imperial 5/8 AF.
Packaging was great as it fitted into the back of my Honda Odyssey, as the guy at Mainfreight said "who needs a trailer."
I have used it for close to an hour and it's a bloody sight easier that swinging an axe.

Little Beauty!

We purchased a 22T back in 2016. Since then it has literally done thousands of tons of wood - in the last 2 years it has split 400T of wood alone. Very pleased with it, it's been really reliable.
